Liber Libri on the Java Estate was launched in May 1998, back when Miki was still in highschool and Yuri was still in college. The idea came to Miki when she was looking for a book to read, but all the websites at the time were exclusive to club members only and had an impersonal feel that was commercially driven. Both being book worms, coffee lovers, and new to the Internet, they decided to try publishing their own book reviews on the World Wide Web, to share their thoughts and opinions on books that came their way.
Liber Libri fell to the wayside as the girls entered post-secondary school -it was hard to find the time to read leisurely after being assigned hundreds of pages of dry, boring, textbook stuff. However, after a 6-year hiatus upon which they are no longer students, they are doing their best to get the site back on track, and Miki is still determined to find a way to make the website look better, beyond the basic html format in which this site was built.

Yuri no longer has time to put in book reviews, since she is now a WORKAHOLIC, but in her spare times she still enjoys reading. She did help me (Miki) create this webpage though, so I suppose she desesrves a little credit ;)
