As a general rule we read three books a month. The main Bookie Selection, the Oprah Selection, and a Bonus Vote Selection. If the main book schedule too confusing for you then please stop by the Plain Page. It is as plain as I can handle.... Any of the books
listed below or elsewhere on this site may be purchased through this site at Exact discussion dates for the Oprah selection will depend on when Oprah announces her book picks. These dates will be posted as soon as possible and are announced on the listserv. |

| The Bookie selections are made approximately every Six months. Our fearless leader calls for nominations and then places all of the choices in a hat. Our next nomination period will probably begin sometime in September, but don't hold us to it :-)! If you want to see what WAS in the hat please take a gander at our Bookie Hat. | ||
