IMCOMP exists to provide a positive environment which focuses on
meeting the needs of each learner, fostering a lifelong love of
learning, and challenging everyone to "be the best that you can
be."
Through our partnership with parents, the community and our
commitment to ecellence, we will provide opportunities for each
learner to develop feelings of self-worth and respect for others, to
take risks and grow intellectually, and to accept the challenge of
change. We will nurture a community of learners wherein each learner
can acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values which will
enable him or her to think clearly, feel deeply and act wisely. Our objectives are not geared to achieve high profit per se as other higher learning institutions. We are committed to provide quality education with minimum cost.
In knowledge, keen; ... In thought, pure;
... In love, compassionate.
Institut Merlimau Computers has passed another milestone. In April
of 1989, we started with a small class of 34 and within a year the
number inreased to 220. After 2 years, we saw our students population
increased to over 300 students. In January 1995 we moved to our
existing location to provide a more condusive environment for
learning in the heart of Merlimau town. We are now the sole private
institution in this town.
IMCOMP Council is now in full operation. This council is composed of
students, staff members and parents. The main goal for the council is
to support improvements of our school for the benefit of the student
who attend courses at IMCOMP.
We thank all of the students who have attended IMCOMP since it opened.
Their presence here has added to our history and our culture. They
have provided us with the experiences necessary to continue our
journey toward excellence in education.
IMCOMP is stressing the use of technology by all of our students. We are
on "the net" now. Many of our ex-students now pursuing various
courses in the local universities, colleges and Polytechnics.
Students in each of our classrooms are using computers for a variety
of tasks.
We are impressed with the quality and dedication of the staff at our
school. They are deeply committed to the development of our students'
talent.
We invite other schools to drop us a line and tell us about themselves.
