As I mentioned, one of my passions is searching our genealogy. I have spent a great many hours over the past few years not without
some moments of banging my head against a wall in frustration. As I am a glutton for punishment I have persevered and now have a great
deal to share with my family. This poem is just a little ditty on that subject.
OUR TREE
See that tree? It once was bareAll stark and bleak and nakedCould I leave it there alone?
Not me, a masterpiece I had to make itI covered that tree with name after nameThe ones that
I discoveredWhile turning stones and picking brains
I even looked in cupboards
Frustrating at times, but lots of fun tooDoing this
wonderful treeFinding those, for if not for them
We would not be a family
