If you would like a sample of sites that have already joined the Donnachaidh Ring, check out this random site, or the Ring's site listing. 2. Insert the HTML code on your web page along with the Donnachaidh Ring graphic found below. Please place it so that folks browsing the Ring can easily find it. 3. Go to any site in the Ring and politely email its owner asking him or her to add your site to the Ring. Please be patient. Remember to include your site ID number in the email - they won't be able to add you from the Queue without it. An important note: Remember to replace (including the dashes --)--email-- with your email address, and --name-- with your name. Also be sure to change any instance of ID=1 to your own site ID number (don't leave it as 1).
You may wish to edit out all but the first of the line break < br > tags in the HTML code if you use this smaller pair, so that the links in the center fit better.
How does one join?
To join the ring, you need only follow these steps:
1. Fill out the submission form below. You will then be sent an email with a site ID number (write it down so you don't forget it!). Your site at this point is automatically entered into the Ring's Queue, but it doesn't mean your site has actually joined the Ring yet!
HTML code and graphics
Once you have filled out and submitted the above form, it is time to cut and paste! Simply use your mouse to select the HTML code and copy it to your browser's clipboard. Then open the HTML file for your own page and paste it in an appropriate place.

Once you have cut and pasted the HTML code, you must also copy the Ring graphics to your site. You may choose between the following pairs. The first is preferred by the RingMaster, but if you prefer a smaller graphic, the second is provided. Simply right-click on the image and Save Picture as... Remember that no matter which pair you choose, the "Donnachaidh Ring" graphic must be saved as dr.gif and the "Next" graphic as dr_next.gif or they will not work with the HTML code.
