Autumn Wood Furniture

I haven't worked for Autumn Wood since moving to Washington but, since enough of you have asked, let me give you a little tour anyway...

The flash shadow off my left shoulder is partly obscuring a very nice "RC Gorman" style pueblo scene by Andrew. He's a very unique artist from Texas that works in leather. The various grades of leather he uses to create the scene give a very textured, 3D feel to his works.

The fun aspect of Autumn Wood was that we displayed all this wonderful looking southwest style furniture and then when a customer found a style they liked we'd say "and how would you like it built for you?" Everything would be built to customer wishes. All pieces and styles could be built in choices of wood, stain, dimensions, leathers and fabrics.

At Autumn Wood you really could "Have It Your Way!"

If the standard designs didn't fit the bill, we'd sit down at a table and design a piece from ground up incorporating styling cues from the style(s) of choice.

Imagine flying to Germany and walking into the Mercedes factory and saying "Ok..pretty much like this SLK but let's make it lower, wider and longer and then let's match this paint sample."

Sorry about the quality of some of the pics that were scanned from one our brochures. I'm going to dig around and see if I can find some of 35mm prints to scan in for better quality.
