Age:
28
(1247 years since birth in Ivalice)
Height:
5'11"
Weight:
228lbs
Fighting Style:
A blended mix of swordplay,
magical arts, and Firitsu (A
firunese martial art, Firun is
an eastern country in Old
Ivalice). When transformed to
Velius he can only use hyped-up
forms of his magic attacks.
Description:
A shrewd young man who fights for
a purpose. He's even willing to die
for that purpose, but he isn't
interested in more suffering than
necessary. He's still fairly cold-
blooded, though. He was fiercely
protective of his sister Miluda,
this is what led him to pursue
Ramza.
Stockily built, a rare trait in Old
Ivalice is one aspect of Wiegraf that
allowed him to be such a successful
knight. His hair is a dirt blonde (was
brown at one point in time), and is
neatly combed, never covered by a
helmet. Upon his hands and legs are mighty
gauntlets and heavy plated boots, both
serve as armor, and weapons. Around his
body Wiegraf wears a plate bearing the
crest of the Murond Temple Knights, this
plate his extremely lightweight, as it
was custom crafted by Gilma (A smithy in
the Emerald Hills). Carried in the seath
on his back is a mighty blade named
'Genesis', and in his left hand a mighty
kite shield.
History:
Wiegraf headed the anti-aristocratic
Knights of Death during the Fifty Year
War; after they disbanded, they resurfaced
as the Death Corps. After Gustav kidnaps
Marquis Elmdor (at Dycedarg's request), an
enraged Wiegraf begins to search for him.
(He knows that the nobles will come down
like a load of bricks on him.) A fencer in
Dorter Trade City leads him to the Sand Rat
Cellar in Zeklaus Desert. He gets there
before Ramza and stabs Gustav. Ramza confronts
him, but lets him go in exchange for the
Marquis' life. Wiegraf later guards the
windmill at Fovoham Plains, where Teta
(Golagros's hostage) is kept. He's defeated,
but escapes. He surfaces many months later
as
a Temple Knight under Vormav's orders. He
lives
for revenge against Ramza for Miluda's death.
He finally gets his chance at Orbonne, but
is
fatally wounded by Ramza. His grief and despair
summon Velius, who signs a pact with Wiegraf's
blood, allowing Velius to take over Wiegraf's
mind and body. Wiegraf/Velius later meets
Ramza
for a final time in Riovanes Castle; Ramza
defeats
Wiegraf/Velius and all that's left is his
Aries
Stone. Following Wiegraf's death Ramza and
his army
left Riovaines, leaving Wiegraf's body and
soul.
A time continuom opened by a still unknown
source
opened in the castle, and took in Wiegraf's
life
essence. Following this Wiegraf was transported
to present day earth and was given a special
ability, the ability to transport between
New
Ivalice (45 years after Wiegraf's death)
and
present day earth (nearly 1300 years after
his
death). Wiegraf entered the professional
fighting
scene for a short period, only to quit after
being
quite unsuccessful. He has now returned to
the UCTF,
more mature, more focused, and more deadly.
