The Macdonald Sect
This is my story of the siblings , the history behind them , and why they are what they are today .
As I stood on the heather in the vale of Glen Coe , In Twilight , the shadows did lengthen and grow , the cauld' wind made me tremble as did the snow with thoughts of the past say lang lang ago..."Twas a night such as this that they lay doon tae sleep , with a fire and their plaids the warmth for tae keep , fra oot o' the darkness came the murderous heap tae kill and tae pillage there plunder they reap...The darkness surrounds me the snow thick and white the wind it was howlin' o're the rocks with it's might , as I pull my plaid 'round me tae keep out the night the pipes I hear faintyly , a lament am I right ?...In the disatnce I see through the blizzard of snow , faint shadows in anger with Claymores aglow , and the sound of the battle raged blow by blow , could it be I am dreaming or is it really so ?...The silence laid o're me like the mist frae the sea , and the shadows had gone now only the wind and me ...The Ghosts of Glen Coe forever will be . so fare well Macdonalds for yer souls are set free...

Originally there were nine children , Conner , Sarah , Colin , Iliessa , Douglas , Blair , Kaleigh , Miles , & Andrew . This made for an extremely mixed and chaotic upbringing . Each of the children two years apart until the last three which were only 15 months apart . A fiercely proud Scottish lot they grew into young adults quickly and began to accompany their father Kristopher on many excursions for the clan . Upon the grandfathers death in 1210 at the hands of the Norse king Somerled the Castle reverted to Kristopher and they lived in peace until 1228 when the Grand Knight Bedevere came into their lives , shattering it asunder . Kristopher , Douglas & Miles were away fighting the Norse Clan Colla and Conner was in charge of the roost . Bedevere convinced Conner that in order to maintain power he would have to allow himself to be transformed into becoming a Vampire and thusly created a downward spiral that would leave only three surviving children , Conner , Iliessa , & Andrew .
Later that year came the horrible news that all three Macdonald men had been killed during the battle with the Collas . Overcome with grief Kaleigh hurled herself off a turret plummeting to her death . Bedevere then took an special interest to Iliessa and brought her across to be his female protege . Iliessa excelled at what she was and became a terror under Bedevere's toutiledge , Conner meanwhile meanaced the village as well and Blair , Sarah , Colin and Andrew were forced into hiding .
Once a Knight of the round table , Bedevere was found out and hunted by his fellow knights as an outcast. unfortunately during a skirmish in the surrounding village of Ross , Blair and Sarah were accidentaly torched to death when the building the were hiding in was mistaken for the Grand Knight's henchmens lair . Colin and Andrew barely escaped with their lives and were taken in by a local sorcerer by the name of Bodlien .
Under the watchful eye of Bodlien , Colin and Andrew grew into young men and were taught the ways of the Necromancer . Both men became revered in the village due to the healing powers they possessed. When Conner heard of the brothers talents he tried to take over where Bedevere and his hordes left off and seduced Colin back into the family abode , only to murder him when Conner failed to bring Colin across properly and he became a shell of his former self.
During this time Andrew escaped the shire through the help of Kalar Mcbran . Kalar had taught Iliessa and Sarah the ways of the sword several years earlier and now it was Andrew's turn . Andrew learned and eventually disappeared only to resurface after Iliessa's marriage to the Lord Von Zarovich . He learned he had a nephew and desired to see him.
Lord Conner became outraged at the marriage and enlisted the help of Druehan to try and stop his sisters wedding...he failed but has since accepted Lord VonZarovich after a nasty confrontation between the two . At the present time all three remaining Macdonalds have tried to maintain a unified front but threats still abound .....we shall see if they can survive .
Epilogue
A wonderful thing has happened ....a miracle of sorts . Kaleigh the youngest girl of the nine siblings has found her way back . how she was able to escape harm at the cliff is truly perplexing ....however extremely joyous time in the Macdonald clan.....how it transpires we shall see
