Although Yahoo has mistakenly decided to put the Community Leader program to rest, I and others have decided to keep our end going, continuing to help out as Community Leaders. If the scrapping of the program gets your goat just as much as it did me, please let the Yahoo of Yahoo!Geocities know about it. Maybe with enough protest, we can get them to bring the program back up and have them support us. Geocities always helped us out, always encouraged us. Since the merger, I have felt the quality of Geocities drop drastically. If you feel the same, let them know about it!
Hi there, my name is Sunfalcon and I am a Community Leader for Yahoo!Geocities. I monitor blocks 1000-1499 in the Hollow suburb of the Area51 neighborhood. I am also a member of the Site of the Week Committee for Area51.
My strengths as a Community Leader are HTML and the various coding problems that can arise using this language. I write HTML by hand usually so I am used to finding and correcting HTML code problems. I know how to code basic HTML like changing font, changing color, adding backgrounds, adding music or video, creating lists, adding links, adding new pages, etc., and also some of the more advanced techniques like frames, tables, and linking to sections in the same page.
I am still learning how to code forms and I cannot aid in any Javascript questions.
